John Chamness, born and raised in Long Beach, CA, currently calls the Central Coast, CA his home. He bought property in Templeton, where he later moved, attracted by the people, culture, history and all life has to offer on the Central Coast.
He regularly enjoys hiking on the many trails throughout the coast, biking, working in his hobby vineyard, raising cattle, traveling internationally, spending time with family and friends, and participating in various outdoor activities with his German Shepherd.
Active in his community, John volunteers for numerous fundraising activities, gives of his time to help those in need, generously supports local charities, and recently served as general manager of his home-owners association.
John’s real estate career began as a customer service representative for a title company in 1992. He then worked as an office manager for a technology consulting firm and as a loan officer at a couple of large mortgage firms.
Highly successful in his career, John started buying and selling real estate for profit – commonly known as flipping. He has been a licensed agent for 14 years, helping clients find their perfect home, whether they are first time home buyers or savvy investors.
John has always been a top producer. Customer service is paramount to the success of his business, as he has sold everything from manufactured homes to vineyards.
Also, a Certified Relocation Agent, John has helped several out-of-area clients settle into their new home on the Central Coast.

From an early age, John learned from his grandparents that hard work, honesty and respect would take him far in life, and he applied those lessons throughout his career and everyday life.
