Born & raised on the family ranch in the Adelaide, I have degrees from Harvard & Cal Poly, served in the Navy, and have traveled the world. But after spending several years as a white water guide in the Grand Canyon where I met my wife, the artist Anne Laddon, I came home to raise a family in Paso. Licensed in 1988, I have a Broker’s license and have earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation as well as others. I have served twice as the President of our local Association of Realtors and have been recognized as “Realtor of the Year” twice as well. I am active in the California State Association of Realtors where I have chaired three committees and will be the Vice Chair of Taxation Committee in 2018.
I recently concluded 6 years as the Planning Commissioner for District One (Northern SLO County). In 1997 my wife & I, with the help of many friends & contributors, started the non-profit “Studios on the Park” with the mission of bringing the fine arts to Paso Robles. I am proud that our venture now hosts monthly exhibitions and through our kids “ArtSmart” program, gives 4,000 students a year art lessons from professional artists.
